ISO 26262 Implementation
ISSI kicked-off ISO 26262 project in July 2017. A series of training courses, on site workshop exercises, SC-AFSP (Automotive Functional Safety Professional for Semiconductor) training, process audit certification were completed in Nov 2018. ISSI planned the 1st product certification by compliance with ISO 26262 standard.
ISSI has attained process certificate and ISSI requested its subcontractor to implement ISO 26262 and get its own process certificate in order to follow ISSI's strategy to meet automotive safety requirement. It not only starts from product design phase but also involves product production processes of whole lifecycle.
ISSI has attained first product certification to ISO26262 in April of 2021 for K101 device. Certificate is issued.
